Official Rules and Terms of Use

By entering the contest, participants agree to be bound by all of the following Official Rules and Terms of Use:

1. No purchase necessary.
2. This contest is open to legal residents of the 13 Pennsylvania counties within the Pittsburgh DMA: Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland. A parent or legal guardian of winners under the age of 18 will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release on behalf of the minor child.
3. Employees of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, contest sponsors, franchises, licensees, parent companies or subsidiaries, and their immediate family members are not eligible.
4. Contestants must answer all 10 Titanic trivia questions correctly and fill out all required information on the entry form.
5. Contestants may enter as many times as they wish. Once a score of 10 out of 10 is achieved, that contestant’s email address will be entered into a pool and will be eligible to win one of five family four-packs of tickets to see Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Carnegie Science Center in a random drawing.
6. Entries must be received by 5 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2008. Only online entries will be accepted. Must have valid email address to enter. Sorry, no exceptions.
7. post-gazette.com reserves the right to eliminate any entry due to disregard for official rules.
8. Winners will be notified by email on or around August 1, 2008. post-gazette.com is not responsible for incomplete or out-of-service contact information. If post-gazette.com is unable, after making a reasonable effort, to contact a selected winner within five days, a new winner will be selected.
9. Five winners will receive a family four-pack of tickets to see Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Carnegie Science Center.
10. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
11. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and contest sponsors reserve the option to substitute prizes of equal value at their discretion.
12. By entering the contest or by winning, participants grant post-gazette.com the right to publicize the participant's name, photograph, image, likeness, voice, statements, and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotion purposes without compensation and without opportunity for review, except where prohibited by law.
13. Winners and entrants agree, except where prohibited by law, to release and discharge, hold harmless and indemnify Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, post-gazette.com, their employees, agents and representatives, officers and directors and their immediate families, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest, from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, and liability for any damages, expenses, fees, injury or losses (INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH) sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for, or participating in any contest-related or prize-related activity. Post-gazette.com reserves the right to change, alter, and/or amend these official rules as necessary, in their sole discretion, to ensure the fair administration of the contest or to comply with applicable law.
14. Post-gazette.com reserves the right to delete, modify or supplement the content of this site at any time for any reason without prior notice. In addition, post-gazette.com may update and modify these Terms of Use and Official Rules at any time and any further use of this site is subject to such modified Terms of Use and Official Rules.
